A deep tissue massage uses slow, firm strokes and deep pressure to target deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue, aiming to release chronic tension, knots (adhesions), and scar tissue, unlike gentler Swedish massages focused purely on relaxation. Therapists use hands, forearms, and elbows to work on problem areas like stiff necks, sore shoulders, or low back pain, promoting healing by increasing circulation and breaking down painful tightness, often described as a "good hurt" for significant relief.
Cancellation Policy
At Zen Massage, we understand that unexpected events can happen that may require you to reschedule or cancel your appointment. We kindly ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. In case of a cancellation, the deposit made at the time of booking will be considered as the cancellation fee. This is because we reserve the right to allocate that time slot to another client, and the deposit will compensate for the lost revenue. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
